Titanfall is soo sick guys. I will try to video tape some gameplay later but it's definately a much needed break from lag of duty.. Map styles remind me of halo 3 crossed to MW2. The gameplay is badass not much camping when robots are dropping in all around you. If you have not got this game yet you should. For those who are getting it add me as a friend arocmatthews so we can play together

So there aren't assholes sitting in every corner trying to maintain a 2.0 KD?
Like what element of the game discourages it?
I am thinking about going to pick up the game tonight.

Haha I did not see a single corner camper but I did get a 5.5 kd 2nd game.. If you camp you more or less become a target. I have found that camping will get you destroyed by a Titan. They can shoot rockets in a building if you try to camp. Also minions will try to get you. I found constant movement to work best, the radar is similar to that of halo where it shows you a red dot for enemies. Titans show large dots with arrow indicators on radar. What I like most other than maps, gameplay, etc is the fact that there is strategy involved you can't just run out like cod. Say there is 2 enemy titans upfield from you. You arent going to just run up on em. You have to improvise and collaborate with teammates. More often than not when you get your Titan people will try to jump you fast. Like 3 vs 1 to kill the Titan ASAP

I am thinking about going to pick up the game tonight. If there are it doesn't help. Points and score are based off participation. Also, no kills streak so nothing to gain by sitting in a corner. You corner camp and some dude with a cloak will literally come snap your neck.

Got the game but haven't got a chance to play it yet, if not this evening, then tomorrow evening for sure. brown: where did you get the adapter? Seems to me it is out of stock everywhere. stonecoldload: like aroc said, Titanfall is a great companion to play alongside with CoD. The two games are similar enough so the context switching is not a big deal, and different enough so you will appreciate one after you play with the other for a while. CoD: more weapon variety, much higher encounter rate with human players, more gun skills (?) Titanfall: almost lag free (because of the dedicated servers), slick movement, much more vertically interesting maps, much less camping, and robots of course I am also hoping for more strategy and teamwork when playing Titanfall with a party: callout will help finding the enemy pilots easier, coordination will make taking down Titans faster, etc. If we can have a party of 3+ players going in we will destroy the opposition.

I agree with you 100% witty. The game for me was lag free and yes a 3 man squad running together would own shit. Especially if you could have 1 or 2 in titans with a following ground unit to patrol for pilots attempting to ambush the titans. I'm not going to lie for me this game is much better than ghosts.. Ghost has huge shitty maps, constant lag, and now an incredibly overpowered season pass gun. Don't get me wrong I will still play in clan wars all hours. My free time or regular gameplay will go towards this game though. Ghosts < Titanfall by far. Even the domination game mode is better. More points to win and it isn't dependent on who has host to win.. Next gen gaming > old gen gaming

Got mine from newrgg, witty. Just checked, out of stock there too (I assume you mean newegg). No big deal, for the time being I'll just wear two headsets, one to listen to and one to speak to. It is a little bit awkward but manageable.

I still haven't figured out my headset issue yet. Any XB1 gaming I have done, I just use my tv audio. I'm not even sure how to use the Kinect yet in terms of audio.

Stone: how do you connect your current headset into XBox 360? We should be able to help you determine whether it can work for XB1 or you'll need to buy a new one.[/quote]

Otis, I'll answer here but I'm gonna try to post it over on the other thread as well. Adapter is cool, if you have a headset (integrated headphones and Mic) it plugs right in and works. Has separate volume for game and chat audio. Its pretty fucking wonky though, better off using the same setup you used for the 360. Works exactly the same now with the included cable you just plug it into the adapter and rock and roll.

I have a Turtle Beach Earforce X12. Wired setup. The headset wire feeds into split. A three way split wire green connector > green connector > ..........> red/white (RCA stereo splitter) > into an adaptor piece, one wire into the 360 wire white connector > ...(nothing) wire > directly into the XBox360 port So the 1st wire, using the RCA stereo splitter, is going into that big fucking slot So the 3rd wire is going directly into the USB port
