Do me a favor.
Lead up a TitanFall thread on our main clan page. Maybe copy and paste some of this stuff over? A lot of our clan guys might be missing this good information on this page, buried down here.. People need to see that there is more to this website than just endless ClanWar grinding. That we are also a bunch of like-minded bros who like gaming in general. And TitanFall could be our showcase example of how it works, because this game is fun. Well, it's a lot of fun playing solo (and losing) I can't even imagine how much fun it might be getting teams together.

Stone: glad you like the game. As I mentioned before, the game is a bit tough for new players, but for you everything should fall into place after 1 generation or 2. All the difficulties you experienced, knowing the maps, finding pilots, Titan fights, dealing with rodeos..., everybody went through the same thing. Note of warning: extensive warm up is needed every time you switch between Titanfall and CoD. While the gun fight feels similar, the movement feels very different. Also, you can get spoiled by the almost lag free feeling of Titanfall, and slow to adjust to the laggy situations in CoD. Regarding matchmaking, use this strategy: denkirson.proboards.com/thread/7053/titanfall-matchmaking-news-discussionsWe should definitely party up. If you, aroc, brown, wine, sleazy and I can get together, we can really get into game modes beyond attrition (Hardpoint DOM, CTF, Last Titan Standing), do call outs, dominate the Titan fights with Titan+Titan and/or Titan+Pilot coordinations, etc. Finals end this week I would like to get a party going Friday night if anyone is available |

Titanfall is going to have 3 map pack DLC, each (most likely) contains 3 maps and nothing else. $10 each if purchased individually, $25 for Season Pass. I am still undecided on whether to buy, and if buying, whether to individually or Season Pass. I am a bit concerned about the possibility of not enough players getting them to achieve critical mass. |

FYI: Titanfall companion mobile app is now available www.titanfall.com/news/titanfall-companion-app-now-available?sf26260583=1available on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. Among all the features listed: the "mini-map" one is the most interesting and can be potentially quite useful when playing. I have downloaded the Android one, but can't experiment with the features that require console connectivity. Also, the app is pretty flaky, crashed twice in the 5 minutes I used it. |
