Here's what my mass email was about, everything is changing

I got the inside scoop a few days ago that Beachhead was going to rechange everything with CoD Clan Wars. Right on cue, as told, Trey@Beachhead sent out a tweet with the following information last night. What's below, is why I sent out that mass email, trying to be a step ahead and get people talking now.

What's below isn't just the news of the upcoming Battle Royale. We knew that was coming. It's going to be scheduled for Saturday/Sunday, April 11th and April 12th. The bigger news is the rest of the info that was sent out.The bigger news is what's in the link. Beachhead is going to reset the leaderboards and totally revise how Clan Wars operate. How so? I don't know. I am trying to find out as we speak. But I think public pressure, clan pressure and overall feedback from the community finally wore down the guys at Beachhead, to at least try and make some fundamental changes to it all.

Obviously, this hurts us. We were ranked 13th in the entire world, out of thousands and thousands of CoD clans out there. So it goes without saying, we are going to have to regroup and revise everything we do, top to bottom. We had a formal strategy in place for the current system. A strategy that was working brilliantly well if I must say so myself. We finished 17th in the world last year, out of 120,000 + clans. And as said, this year that strategy had us ranked 13th in the world. But times changes. We will too. There's going to be a lot of discussion coming up, on everything we do.

Diamond Division Clans, prepare for the ultimate test with Battle Royale for Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare! With Battle Royale, all three regions – US West, US East, and Europe – compete simultaneously to determine the top Diamond Division Clans across the globe. The first Battle Royale event will take place on April 11th and 12th.

As the Battle Royale includes all regions battling simultaneously, the start and end times on the 11th and 12th are as follows:

Pacific: Starts 11AM PT, finishes 3PM PT
Eastern: Starts 2PM ET, finishes 6PM ET
Europe: Starts 8PM CET, finishes 12AM CET

Clan Wars Scoring Changes

Following the first Battle Royale, the Diamond Division leaderboards will be reset, so make sure your Clan is ready to compete and see who the kings of Diamond Division really are. Stay tuned as we release more information about Battle Royale, in addition to scoring changes coming at a later date.

The first Battle Royale for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes place on Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th.
