Yeah just on my own. I knew a few friends that went through it and am knowledgeable and disciplined enough to stick to it on my own, just really used my gym time and rearranged it a little. I only have so much time in the day(lately not much) and fitting in an hour 3-4 times a week just wasn't gonna happen unless I had to have some type of procedure done to it. I do stretch pretty regularly but nowhere near yoga.
What grappling do you do, BJJ?

Found this at the right time. I'm lookin to start lifting again and went to buy some creatine. Hit up GNC for some Con-Crete but its creatine hydrochloride and I mostly used monohydrate since its all the Internet brags about. Anyway, does anyone have any experience with this brand. Anyone fucks wit da HCl? Thanks

Ill get with ya after clan wars but if you're going to GNC you're getting screwed...in the ass....no lube....with a baseball bat. Anything beyond creatine mono is just fluff and cost.

I have a local chain that I shop at when I run out of something and don't want to order my big shipment, its Supplement Superstore. It is the only store around me with prices comparable to the internet. They push their products just like all the others but have all the other popular brands. I have like 10 other shops around me and all of them are outrageous. If you have a Golds gym around you see what store is next to them. In several areas they cut deals with reputable chains, its worth checking.
But for everything else you just cant beat bodybuilding.com for prices and fast service. The creatine I get is just plain old creatine. Its natural, just like protein and you cant really improve it, just try to absorb more into your body per serving. So if you do the math on all these fluffy creatine products that claim to absorb more and look at the actual dose of creatine its like 3g and a bunch of other shit. I take 5g twice daily of mine, get a 600g bottle for $15 bucks. 2 months of 10g for 15 bucks or 3g a day for some crazy prices, no thank you 10g > 3g I dont care how much you absorb. Creatine
Sooo, the diet. I have no idea what your goals are, where youre starting, whatever. DIET IS EVERYTHING. I don't care how hard you work out or how much, if you eat like shit you will not get much more than noob gains. You work out 1 hour a day and have 23 hours to fuck that effort up and its pretty easy to do. Some people trying to lose dont eat enough, trying to gain just eat a ton of shit. This is usually the last place lifters look and the last thing to get right. Really lifting is pretty easy, go grab some weight and move it and move more next week but diet is hard man, its 24/7 of discipline. There is plenty of info out there on diet so i wont go on and on except up the protein and down the carbs. Take in your 1.25-1.5 grams per pound of bodyweight, as many fats as you can and make up the rest of your caloric requirements from carbs. Right now i'm under 20g a day but my normal diet is under 150ish. Here are some other products I have found to be the best bang for the buck when comparing labels and active ingredients.

One of my big fitness goals is to run a Spartan Race. They are spread out throughout the country BUT I will still have to travel and stay overnight somewhere to do one. SOOOOOO, I was thinking maybe we (the ones who workout) could figure out which one is most central to us all and do this as a team. Any one interested in seeing if we can work this out?

Hey Hippie, there is a tough mudder race up near me. But it's west of me in Ohio. So a few hours in your direction. Any interest in doing that this summer? I think they have them in late July, early august

Actually I just checked it out. They are it two weeks so this one is out, but yes I am willing to drive 10 hours to run with anyone from HSV1.
