...and to welcome in the new CoD Diamond season, here's a little something for Aroc....a Ms Alexis Naiomi
RECAP.
The new CoD AW clan season is upon us. 'Diamond Division' And yes, while there were plenty of Platinum wars over the prior two months (HSV1 went 4-0), we all know those were essentially glorified scrimmages that really didn't prove to much of anything. Platinum is for qualifying. Diamond is for separation! Where the steak gets separated from the gristle! Which brings us to this first Diamond opening weekend, right on Super Bowl weekend. Let's begin the recap.
Diamond #1. Same as last summer. The war was two rounds. Friday and Saturday, Jan 30th and 31st. Each round was four hours of CoD playing. We couldn't pre-rank any opponents who we played, as this was the first Diamond war. There are no official Leaderboards yet. That said, any clan playing this past weekend, they must have some semblance of skill and organization. You had to qualify to be here. All the clans listed below in our pool, had two (or more) Platinum wins. These weren't scrub clans. Nonetheless, we got off to a great start Friday night. Coming right out the gate swinging hard and winning games. And things didn't stop from there. We dominated all weekend. As you can see from the round by round scoresheet below (which is mostly accurate)....we kept up our pace in both halves. Sometimes it's easy to let up in round 2, if you have the win secured. We didn't, scoring even more points on Saturday night. This is important. If your total points at the CW end can finish in the top 1% of all clans.....you get bonus leaderboard points. I feel pretty good we were in the top 1%.

BIG TIME props to all the people who showed up to help. I was amazed. We have a great turnout and we are slowly pulling everyone back together, as well as slowly bringing in some of our Xbox 360 guys. Thanks!! Below is a list of all people who helped play this weekend. Special props to the first six guys below, who helped fill out 'Squad 1'. These guys put a crapton of points (& wins) on the board this weekend, our highest scoring squad. The score sheet says 48 wins over two rounds. That's 24 wins per four-hour round. Wow. THAT is very impressive. Has that ever been done before? Six wins per hour? That's not just winning games, and that's winning games quickly.

AGAIN...THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED. And that goes to everyone. Clan Wars is a team sport. You got to have each other's backs. Pitch in a lot or little, everyone can have a place in this contest. There are roles for everyone and I truly can't stress that enough. For example, to those of you who missed this clan war (about 40 people)....no worries. We had good help this weekend. The CW season is very long. We will definitely need your help in later wars. Find time to help, and when you can, make it count. This is a team. We truly want people to PACE themselves. Clan Wars can be grinding and even last year, many clans just blew up before the mid way point. The goal of a good clan, is to Stay Together, .....Have Fun.... and Keep Playing! Those are the top traits of a top performing clan. Believe me, we speak from experience. We finished 17th in the world last year, out of around 125,000 clans who played CoD Ghosts. We know how to get there. You follow those three principles, .....the winning will take care of itself.
at the top stone... Good write up we should be ranked top 20 after this first war. We get 80 for first place im also pretty sure we got top 1% so 15 points off that. We get 16 points for the above bonuses first node etc. We should also get 4 overnight hold bonus points for the first night and 5 for the 2nd night. So, overall I'm thinking we will have right at 120 DD points for our first war. That's huge for one war! Great job to everyone who was involved.
