I stopped playing since the destiny expansion but it was dead before that. I got on each night for a week straight prior to destiny dlc and there was never more than 1-3 people on. I don't know maybe everyone hates it that much.
Next clan war is this Wednesday dec 17- dec 22 hopefully we can get a team of people together.

Also, I think AW has gotten better since the update. There are actually other guns (than the BAL) worth using now.

I've been playing Destiny more lately, but that was kind of by design. I played CoD Ghosts waaaaay to much last summer and fall. Especially doing every Clan War. I needed a break. So i took one. I am hoping if I go a little slower this time, ease more into CoD, I won't burn out again. So that said, I plan on playing CoD more over the holidays. And every clan war.
As far as Destiny, that has pulled A LOT of people away from CoD. MANY people. But that game is running into issues now. The DLC content is pretty much over and the game is now slipping into what is essentially a dog-chasing-its-own-tail grindfest. Far worse than anything CoD has ever done. Bungie recently took the levels and work of all one did, ...and pretty much made everyone start over. Completely stupid. I know I am not going to bother with doing 90% of what I did before. Who wants to go spend another six hours leveling up a gun you've already finished once? I don't. But the game is sick like that, in forcing people to do so. It's become a huge time sink with nothing to show for it. The most recent DLC raid has also become a cheap glitchfest. As you can tell, the most recent DLC burned me out.
We'll get a few groups together this weekend for the clan war. I would love to try and organize it more, send out mass emails, rally people, but it all seems pointless. One, we have a ton of people still on the XBox360 side who just can't be coordinated with. And even more troublesome, Felix Gallo, Rudy and the rest of them are fucking idiots. They allow a mechanism for setting active vs non-active...but then last clan war, it didnt' even work. Non-active people's wins were counting. Why? What's the point? I have tweeted them numerous times to get answers, and they don't answer. Right now, the people at Beachhead are completely inept and have no clue what they are doing. It feels like a trainwreck.
Hopefully things improve. Either way, these initial Clan Wars are scrub wars. If BeachHead follows the same pattern, they are just qualifying events like last year. Win two of the first five/six wars...and you then qualify for Diamond. THAT is where the real action/intensity starts. Right now? Play, have fun, and hopefully we win two of these scrub wars. We already have one 1st under our belts.
All that negativity said, we did win our first Clan War. Yeah.

Yea Destiny got old quickly for me. Their multiplayer is nothing compared to COD...and the raids just felt like playing co-op single player, which were incredibly boring.
I just miss the days of having 20 friends on COD every time I signed in. Now it's hard to get a group of more than 2-3.

Good post stone. Very true about destiny fun game but it's heading in the wrong direction no doubt.
Swain I know what your talking about. There will be more then 3-4 on for clan wars and I expect to see more as they get burned out on the limitless grind fest that destiny is pushing us toward.

I don't play AW much because I'm having trouble keeping up. Enemy and teammates alike are zipping by rapidly and I for one am having a god awful time tracking movement. I like the game but I don't feel like I'm going to be any good playing it.

I stopped playing because I have found this to be the least enjoyable CoD made so far. I don't care for the hyper movement, don't like the majority of the maps, and find the hit detection to be unreliable at best. I'll play agsin at dome point, but not sure when.
Also, I personally disagree on Destiny. I still enjoy. Every long term game is a grind. CoD is no different to me. I don't mind grinding as long as it is fun. I certainly wish there was more content, but I still enjoy the game. Personal preference for sure. And I like the grind better when you actually get something for it (loot). The DLC reset is just like prestiging in CoD. You lose progress, but then keep moving up. And the reset is pretty standard fare for the MMO model they are vaguely following.

Hey guys great job on the 1st clan war. I for one haven't been playing AW much because it seems as though everyone on my friends list is on the One, 29 people on 3 on 360 and those 3 are watching Netflix . Plus, I decided to go back to college again and haven't had much time to play-have to do my homework . And, my son has been playing on my profile but, I've told him to try to pay attention to the main target. Not sure if that helps out or not. Hopefully I will be getting the One soon! Miss playing with y'all.
