If this is true, that would be sweet for us west coasters! 9pm start time, I would be in better form to not get my ass kicked too much  , especially I don't have to worry about people who have a 3 hour head start on me... |

I'll need to at least get 3 map packs ($15 each) to make the $40 worthwhile, I doubt I'll go that far. Most likely I won't get map packs at all, or just the first one. |

I just pre-ordered the digital pro edition. It's $100 on the Xbox one home page. They give you the atlas gorge map, atlas content pack (which is a gun, pistol, and camo), the season pass and game. Essentially the game is still 60 but you get a season pass, extra map, and guns/camo for $40. Sure beats paying $50 later on for just a season pass.

If you pre-order the master chief collection on your Xbox one home page they are offering an exclusive boom skull bonus multipler. It adds 2x explosion to grenades on the halo 2 campaign. Sort of a nice incentive to go digital. Since the nearest GameStop is 50 miles away I have been converted to the witty ways of digital purchases haha.

forest/aroc/saggy: I apologize again for my suggestions to you for getting AW digitally. XONE digital preload has been working pretty well since early September for several games including Destiny, so I did not expect the horrible glitch that robbed you 4-5 hours of play time.

It was a bit a nuisance, but I am glad I got the digital download now. One day of troubles, will be easily offset by the next 364 days being much better. Getting to the fact I don't have to swap out game discs back and forth. For example, I can keep my Destiny disc in the drive, and just switch right over to the digitally downloaded CoDAW with a press of a button. I like that.

XONE preload / prepurchase worked perfectly for several games, including Blockbuster titles like FIFA15 (huge in Europe) and Destiny. SH must have given MSFT a bad version at some point and failed to notify players that they'd better re-download. |
