So i am starting this thread, to combine news. Some great news after our huge blowout win last weekend. I'm going try to combine a number of sources into this one thread.
CLAN WAR RANKING & OTHER NEWS:
NEWS 1. - It 'appears' that we got the top 1% bonus. We are still trying to confirm this. #RedditBlack's website is saying the cutoff was 590 pts. But that said, looking at our own internal scoring stats, based off the bonus qualifiers, it appears our 542pts was enough. It looks like we got that extra +10 points for top 1%. Our score went from 208 Diamond Leaderboard points (DLP), to 337 DLP. That equals 129 points. They only way I can make that work, in our scoring, is IF we got that bonus. If so, congrats on scoring in the top 1% of all clans.

Taking some highlights from the above link. It needs to be said that other Elite level clans are having the same troubles we have at times. Participation. The 9th ranked clan, 'Axon Gaming', supposedly had 60% of their people no show on the first night, seeing them get beat by 'Relapsed'. Doom Clan Elite, (overall #2), saw their PS clan finish 3rd due to internal squabbling. Their leader threatened to disband them. Even with Lethal Gaming, there are hints that they are having issues getting back to 100 players on their squad. Cracks are starting to appear. Like I said, this is an endurance contest.
NEWS 3. - The most interesting news from the above link is a hint/preview at what may be involved in the next CW. I'll just post it directly:

As previously stated, clans like @the_tbs_clan drew the short end of the stick after eliminating a previous unbeaten and having them drop more than three spots as a reward. In a show of disapproval, @the_tbs_clan began questioning @treybeachhead as to how this could happen. @treybeachhead then gave away information pertaining to what's been on the mind of all clan members and followers alike: THE BATTLE ROYALE.
The next clan war appears to settle the score and rivalry amongst all clans battling for the #1 overall spot. The timezone is unknown, rules could change, and no one knows the date. Currently, the weekend of Easter Sunday aligns itself with the rotation. Will we find out that @treybeachhead does not eat the wafer at mass and will forego the body of Jesus Christ for a clan war? Or will he succumb to The Lord and weep at the foot of the cross? (Obviously, @felixcloven is an atheist. He's a God damn redditor for years). "
NEWS 4. - With four sets of data coming in with the rankings ( four diamond wars), we are getting a clearer picture of what is going on. There are approximately 110,000 clans out there in the CoD universe. This number grows each week, but at a slower pace. Around 15% of these are more real clans. Clans that have a minimum of 21 people. The other 85% or so are clans of small groups. Don't mean to be harsh there, but a six person in a group really isn't a 'clan', as it doesn't really having to do even 1/10th the game management, playing, organization or anything else going on that bigger clans do. It's a different contest for them.
These 110,000 clans are divided into two leagues. There are approximately 82,000 clans playing in the regular Regular Clan League (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Iron), And approximately 28,000 clans playing in the Diamond Division (qualifying clans, who have won two CW's)
NEWS 5. - Here's the deal. Each Diamond War, new clans qualify and get in. So the total number of clans in Diamond keeps going up and up. So these 'new' clans are those who were still playing regular clan wars (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Iron). and finally got their second Platinum win. Yes, there still are clans out there, trying to get into Diamond. You need to first qualify your clan Platinum, then win that contest twice. I think some of us, in this clan, are a bit jaded. They don't realize how fast we did this process. So anyways, we can see this effect taking place each week. How? By tallying up the total number of clans who have scored at least 1 DLP point. The total Diamond clans has gone from 5,560 clans (that have scored DLP point), to 10,291, to now an estimate of 14,200. But again, remember..... those are just diamond clans who scored a point. Most diamond clans don't. The real total number is around 28,400 clans in Diamond.
NEWS 6 - So how does this relate to HSV1? We jumped up this past weekend. We went from 905th place to 308th place. A huge jump. So we are 308th place out of 28,400 clans in Diamond. The top 1.085%. Impressive. When you consider ALL the clans in the CoD universe, big and JV clans, we are 308th out of 110,000 clans. That really puts some perspective on things. Think on that for a minute. That's the top 0.28%. We truly are in the top.
NEWS 7 - The neat thing about the DDCW leaderboards is that also has categories based on size. Witty and I did some research and can actually find out how many of the clans ahead of us, are 'jv' clans. 206 of those clans ahead of us are JV clans. If you just look at clans that are 21 or over, we are ranked 102nd out of 1,931 clans (that have scored a point), or 102nd out of 3,862 clans who entered Diamond. That's the top 2% of big clans. Again, impressive.
NEWS 8 - How about our current competitive bucket, the 40 to 45 bucket? We are in 10th out of 142 clans (who have scored a pt), or 282 clans who have played. Top ten. Again, congrats to all. That is impressive.
