Setting the stage here.
The X-Games this year expanded to include some new 'sports'. The year, they included CoD Ghosts as a sport. Yeah. Setting aside the merits as to whether CoD esports is a sport, it did happen. So the format was as follows; eight pro mlg CoG teams were invited to come down to compete in an exhibition/sport whatever you want to call it.
The clip below is the semifinals. Optic is playing Evil Geniuses (formerly Complexity, they were recently bought out by EG). The four pro CoD players at EG have been dominating CoD the past year, winning just about everything. So they were the huge favorites to win things.
This semi-finals was going to be a best of five series. MLG rules. Games on Domination, SnD, Blitz, Domination and then SnD. In game one, EG won Domination on Freight, 155-145. The second game was set up for SnD, best of 11 (first team to win six SnD games). The video below is with Optic leading five games to three games. One more SnD win, and Optic gets SnD. So in this video below, to set it up, Optic is on offense. They are planting. One of Optic's guys is going to end up by himself, versus four remaining EG players. The video below shows how it went......
