Is that really a nerf'? Just the headshot multiplier? I think the HS multiplier is now at 1.5. The same as all the other guns. Even if it was nerfed to 1.25x, is that really going to affect it's damage profile?
Looking at the stats, the Mtar is a 3 bullet kill up to 21 or 22 meters. Four bullets anywhere beyond that, 22m plus. Even a 1.25 HS nerf', ...all that seems to be doing is taking away a potential one bullet if that bullet had been in the head. That is, the MTAR could kill in two bullets, if one hit the head. This would be only up to around 15 to 16 meters. Beyond that, it's three bullets. So this nerf', ...how i am seeing it (and i could be totally wrong here), is almost meaningless. It only applies to IF you got a headshot mixed in your kill shot, and the headshot was within 15 meters.
It's still the most damaging smg', especially when equipped with rapid fire.
