At first she was hesitant but I sweet talked her into it.

Well, I am not sure if she is a muppet but she does have someone's hand shoved up her butt.
Actually the task was much simpler than Sony would want you to know. It is just a laptop HDD hidden in the side. Biggest problem is if you have the 12GB PS3 it doesn't have a HDD bracket. You can get one online, but we just shoved a piece of mouse pad under it and it is working fine. From 12GB to 320GB in about 10 minutes.
