I am not sure how many clan bros know that from time to time XBL offers free games to gold members, as well as deeply discounted games that you can download. If you do not know this, then you are missing out! The best way to keep informed about these is to follow Major Nelson on Twitter or visit his web site from time to time. I will also post what I see in this thread to share with everybody on this board. |

Each month XBL offers gold members two free games to download, one for the first half of the month, one for the second half of the month. Free games of March: Civilization Evolution (expired), Dungeon Defenders (still active). |

Weekly deals 03/24 - 03/31 includes the trilogy of BioShock (BioShock - $4.99, BioShock 2 - $4.99, BioShock Infinite - $9.89), which are considered by the player community as one of the all time best Single Player FPS games. Great to have if you have not had a chance to play them yet.

I am not the best person to comment on GoW because although I bought all the games when they came out, I did not have time to finish them all. However, if you have played GoW campaign and liked it, you should be able to enjoy GoW2 and GoW3, both have great reviews, definitely worth the $13.

I played GoW 1, but got kind of bored with the campaign. The multiplyer just wasn't my thing.

In today's Kinect-less XONE announcement, MSFT also mentioned what free games are coming in June: X360: “Dark Souls,” “Charlie Murder” and a bonus game of “Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.” XONE: “Max: The Curse of Brotherhood” and “Halo: Spartan Assault.” In particular, Dark Souls is a high profile game that would be great to get for free.
