I just saw where this was announced as the start date for Diamond. Glad it isn't starting this weekend with Friday being Valentines Day.

That's awesome news. Really gives us time to load up.
Here's a question. Is there a clan wars this weekend? A regular one? Maybe we should enter it, just to get that one patch we talked about, the '3 - day hold'?

Good I suppose. I didn't think they could manage 2 wars simultaneously anyway. So the question is do we participate in the platinum war? If we dont we'll miss out on this wars swag badge.

Maybe we should. I don't know if we have 'officially' left the Platinum yet. I don't think we have? I will have to look.
At this point in time, we don't really need to win anymore. I would guess almost all of us have all the SWAG, just getting the MERC body gear. Unless we want to get some newer bros the rest of their SWAG.

Yea they are running at the same time. So looks like we can't do both. I'm looking forward to Diamond, and getting some really "exclusive" camos.
The body count will be less exclusive now, with weaker clans finally having the chance to win the gold/platinum divisions.

Just kidding.
With the limited hours, it should make for higher participation than we are used to. I hope we see 75-80 people on at a time. That is probably what it's going to take (at least early on) in the Diamond division.

We hit 18 on the opening hour/two on the Last CW. We hit 24 and 28 on the prior two CW's.
Both were at 3pm ET though. A very rough start time for us, as probably 85% of us are ET and CT.
It might be hard hitting 75 people. The most we have had on, the best I can remember, is around 52 actually playing on CW5. I think the most online (and playing) during CW6 was like 44.
We dropped 11 people who were doing nothing to help and haven't really helped in any clan wars. If the 11 replacements are active, I think 60 might be doable. 70 might be a reach. We get 60 people, with our organization, we will win it.

1) Should we create a dedicated subboard for the first DD CW under HSV1 private -> Specific Wars Discussion, or we keep it lightweight and just use a single thread?

I have been thinking about this too Witty. There is duplication going on. We almost have to many threads.
On the "HSV1 Private Board', we have three subboards: "Specific Wars Discussion", "Clan Wars Strategy Discussion" and "Private News and Stuff"
I think the 2nd board should just be called "HSV1 private Clan War and CoD talk". That way any clan specific private talk about anything CW related, or even CoD related, can be placed here.
Then on the public board, we just get rid of the "Clan Wars" sub-board. We don't need this here. The only reason we put this up on the open board was to let newcomers see what has been going on with the clan competitive stuff. We can just as easily put that info up on the "CoD General Discussion" board, which is public.
Thoughts?
