Yes but you need that adapter unless you buy a headset made BH MS but they're all shit compared to pairing your own. Second this, especially if you already have a headset that gets game audio from S/PDIF output. From XB1's March System Update notes: majornelson.com/2014/03/04/xbox-one-march-system-update-rolling-out-today/This will address your game audio needs. For chat you need the adapter (Model Number: 6JV-00001), which seems to be sold out everywhere. After some looking around, I found 1) you can buy it from Game Stop web site, but they charge $30 for it, $5 higher than everywhere else, what a rip off; 2) you can buy it from Best Buy web site and ship it to a store near you for pickup. I did this last week, the item is now on its way to the local store. I'll update this thread once I really get it; I am happy to report that I have picked up the adapter I bought from Best Buy web site and shipped to the local store. It got here fast enough, and works as expected.

Cheaper is better. For the 360 I've been using the Turtle Beach set that was around $200, but I'd like to go cheaper if reasonable sound quality can be achieved.
I've actually been looking at the Xbone stereo headsets - Amazon had them for about $60, and they come with the adapter. I'm sure the sound won't be premium, but that price is tough to beat if you can adequately sound whore with them...

I got the turtle beach xo4 or whatever the 70 dollar set is and they work just fine. But this is coming from a guy that had the turtle beach ear Force 1s(the cheap set back then) for 4 years and still work great for my 360, not broke or failed once.

Something like this: Creative Aurvana Live $73 Zalman mic1 $8 Or Antlion Mocmic $50 (will last longer) 4-pole splitter$5 That gives you basic functionality and blows other headsets away. Even better would be to add a mixamp either from turtle beach or astro. Depends what you already have so feel free to link me it. So $86 gives you something pretty nice but this also assumes you have the Xbox one chat adapter which you need regardless of what headset or headphones you decide to buy. Once again I would add a mixamp but that's your decision.
